ahahahaha `no im not going to eat all that
I have made this twice so far this week! ha ha.
one tip though: After the chicken is done and removed to “sit a bit”, remove all the yummy reasonings inside and add it back into the warm pan. Crush the garlic and mix it in with the “sauce”. I then strain it and get just the wonderful juice which I put back into the warm pan. Now, when I cut the meat I place it back into that wonderful juice to soak a bit and then I serve it.
DUDE! YUMMY. lol.
I serve mine with assorted root-veggies.
@thomasinnorway pls send me some over
Oh…I am so making this tomorrow.
Hahahaha, me too after seeing this. I’m gonna tear this up tonight.
I m fk’innnnnn STARVIN’
buy a free range organic chicken, you won’t have all the fat and the flavor of the chicken is awesome, I made this and it was delicious. I used Argula instead of watercress .
roasting is hard i always f it up, blood inside
any videos on good roasting potatoes john??
@amici43 If you cook the potatoes with the chicken, the flavors would be overwhelming. You want the potatoes to have there own flavor. Also, there is the chance of them coming out dry. This is why I wouldn’t add them in,
Why not put the roast chicken in whole and let the guests hack away at it?
Looks great though. Watercress!? Gonna try it.

why don’t you put the potatoes in the pan with the chicken? comment please
nice job bra
he also says “watercrest” instead of “watercress”
wow that looks sooooo good!
You make awesome food!!
haha, hey I only weigh 130 and I’m 5’11″. I’m good at sensing what flavors would go good with others though. I tried this combo by the way and it was okay, but I could taste there was too much fat and not enough flavor. I intend to retry this experiment one day with pepper jack cheese instead of aioli. I think it’ll work much better (either that or make the aioli with grape seed oil instead of olive oil with a few extra spices that I have in mind plus a little more salt).
Because I’m capable of taking a bite without the onion and comparing it to a bite with the onion. It’s not rocket science.
And yes, 20X better… okay maybe 19X, but around there.
Wow, Chef John is great! I wish I had a husband like him… ;0) hahah…I only have one complaint (more like a pet peeve): He keeps calling her Julia Child[S] (with an “s”—though I’m sure he knows her name is Child. But this is one of my many pet peeves: people who add S’s to names. Like my friend Leyla who always calls one of my favorite Actresses of all time, Sally Field, “Sally Fields”…arrrghhhh
well the chicken was well liked and i will be cooking it again thanku
