hello aunty. u r really awsome. in this recipe do u add boiled peas in the gravy or just normal peas? and can u tell how to make yogurt?
OMG!!!
To die for!!!!
De BEST!!!
auntyji but wher is the butter in it. I made it for my inlaws who are into ISKON coz they cant eat onions n garlic n they simply luvd it.
Looks good. But the receipe seems to be like Cethinad Style something like ‘Paal Kari Khozhambu’.
instead of frying the paneer in oil, try this:-
1. marinate raw paneer in a mixture of yogurt, green chili, garlic, ginger and salt for 3 hours (this is for flavor and softness
2. Now grill the pieces of paneer instead of frying
3. let me know what you think of the flavor
Haloumi cheese is very salty but paneer is very light with a fresh milk taste.
Hey Manjula Aunty,
Today I cannot eat onions and garlic and this recipe was so great that I could not stop thanking you .

Thankyou for replying! that is good that i dont need the hing, because i have been looking everywhere for it, but sadly i have had no luck!
Just leave out the hing.

Hi Manjula aunty,
I have eaten this dish many times in hotels but have never seen green pees in this dish. Also can we use milk or cream instead of yogurt?
hai auntie manjulas!
I have try it great
where was the butter in that dish heheh butter paneer masala…
hello aunty,
By the way where is butter in this recipe..isnt it required?…
corn starch is to thicken the gravy…. but if u add flour directly it will lump. So dissolve in water first… just a little so its not lumpy… then add small amounts and also note as it cools it will thicken more as well. Hope this helps
hi manjulaunty………thanx for ur recipe…….was really helpfull…..will be serving ur recipe for ommorow dinner for guests….looking forward for more recipes from you…
I add corn starch to thickes the gravy, use 1 teaspoon of plain flour.
Dear Madam,
I am from Sweden i exactly follow ur procedure, thank u ! let me know about the corn starch , which i am not able to get here
erm this looks delicious. I thought it was paneer makhani, as many restraunts in the uk serve a similar dish called that. I think that is because the term makhani is used whenever butter is used.
you can use any yogurt and I will be doing home made yogurt soon. corn starch you can buy in any grocery store in baking section
